The Fire TV was one of the hottest items released by Google last year. It allows you to watch many of your most popular television shows and even watch full episodes of them without having to pay for a subscription. However, the Fire TV does not work with certain software and if you have an application which is incompatible with the Fire TV, then your entire collection could be gone in an instant. Fortunately, there are steps you can take to fix this problem. First, you need to download and install the free software application called Plex Media Server.
From the fire-tv menu, go to Settings > General then pick Add-Ons. If you do not see a "Plex Media Server" option, search for System and pick it instead. Click on Install on the next screen, when prompted click OK. Next, click the Download Manager icon to download and install the Plex Media Server software. When finished, restart your fire tv stick, and then run the Plex Media Server to install all of your content.
You can also run into a more serious problem if your internet connection is slow or unreliable. This issue can occur if you accidentally download a virus that destroys files on your hard drive. If your internet connection is slow or unreliable, you can experience an internet error message such as error code 439 followed by other symptoms such as error messages, pops, and system crashes. If your fire tv software updates did not fix the problem, then it may be necessary for you to install software updates on each computer that has the software installed on it.
